Overview
Our recruitment team is supporting a fast‑growing e‑commerce organisation seeking a Tik Tok Shop Affiliate Manager to scale multiple UK Tik Tok Shops through creators, affiliate networks, and Tik Tok Shop’s native tools. This is a remote position. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes Tik Tok, understands creator behaviour, and feels at home in dashboards, spreadsheets and data‑driven environments.
You’ll own the full affiliate engine—strategy, execution, optimisation and automation.
- Develop and execute the Tik Tok Shop affiliate strategy across several UK shops. Define commission structures, creator tiers, seeding plans, content angles and a revenue‑focused promo calendar. Build a roadmap to scale from early creator activity to hundreds of active partners driving consistent daily sales. Align affiliate initiatives with key promotional moments (seasonal events, Tik Tok mega sales, Black Friday, etc.).
- Manage daily operations within Tik Tok Shop Seller Centre, focusing on Affiliate Centre functionality. Set up and optimise Affiliate Plans, commission rates (flat and optimised), and creator recruitment flows. Use discovery and collaboration tools (Find Creators, Open Collaboration, Manage Creators, Samples, Analytics) to attract and scale creators efficiently. Maintain product catalogues, tagging and availability for smooth creator access. Manage whitelists, blacklists, exclusions and category‑specific requirements.
- Source UK‑based creators using Tik Tok tools, external databases and affiliate/creator agencies. Manage a robust pipeline/CRM of creators including outreach, negotiation, onboarding and long‑term retention. Build creator playbooks outlining hooks, scripts, angles, USPs, guidelines and compliance notes. Monitor creator output and performance; identify and scale top performers through higher‑tier commissions or exclusives.
- Collaborate with Tik Tok Shop partner agencies and affiliate agencies to support recruitment and campaign delivery. Provide clear briefs outlining goals, budgets, messaging angles, product priorities and commission rules. Evaluate agency performance through KPIs such as GMV, ROAS, CAC via affiliates, active creators and content volume.
- Utilise automation features such as Campaign Auto‑Registration to streamline product enrolment. Build lightweight automations/workflows using Google Sheets, Zapier/Make, APIs or partner tools to sync performance data into dashboards, flag top creators/content, trigger commission updates or outreach sequences. Document SOPs to enable scalable, repeatable processes across multiple brands.
- Report on all key affiliate metrics, including GMV, AOV, conversion rate, active creators, CTR, content volume and commission spend. Run structured experiments (pricing, bundles, hooks, thumbnails, creator niches, posting times). Deliver weekly and monthly insights with clear recommended actions.
- Work with paid media teams to amplify top‑performing creator content through Spark Ads / Tik Tok Ads. Partner with brand/content teams to optimise product pages, bundles and creatives for Tik Tok Shop. Share creator and customer insights to support improvements in offers, pricing, product development and content strategy.
- Hands‑on experience managing Tik Tok Shop or social commerce affiliate programmes (brand, agency or network side).
- Strong understanding of Seller Centre & Affiliate Centre: creator discovery, commission mechanics, samples, campaigns, analytics.
- Demonstrated success scaling creator‑driven revenue.
- Strong analytical comfort: spreadsheets, dashboards, data manipulation (VLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, pivots, etc.).
- Excellent written and spoken English for creator communication and negotiation.
- Highly organised and process‑driven, with the ability to manage high creator volumes.
- Experience working with Tik Tok Shop partner agencies or influencer/affiliate agencies.
- Background in UK/EU e‑commerce (FMCG, food & drink or CPG particularly helpful).
- Understanding of Tik Tok ads and how paid and affiliate work together.
- Familiarity with API‑driven workflows and partner tools.
- Experience with other affiliate platforms (Impact, Awin, Refersion, etc.).
