We’re looking for a motivated Product Marketing Specialist to support customer marketing initiatives for Mark Logic and Semaphore—two cornerstone data and semantic solutions in the Progress Data Platform.
This early-career role will help bring customer success stories to life, strengthen advocacy programs, and support lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive adoption, retention, and expansion. It’s an ideal opportunity for a marketer eager to grow in product marketing while learning how to connect customer value with go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
In This Role, You Will- Support the execution of customer marketing programs that celebrate customer success and increase product adoption.
- Help create customer-facing assets—case studies, testimonials, success videos, and spotlights—showcasing measurable impact and ROI.
- Partner with Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation to assist with retention and expansion campaigns.
- Maintain and update the customer advocacy library and assist in coordinating customer participation in references, events, and analyst briefings.
- Conduct basic data and sentiment analysis on customer engagement metrics to inform future programs.
- Draft and edit content for newsletters, webinars, and community features highlighting customer innovation and outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging and storytelling across campaigns and platforms.
- 1–3 years of marketing experience—preferably in product marketing, customer marketing, or a related B2B SaaS/software marketing role.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and curious, eager to use data and feedback to guide program improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, engineering or a related field.
- Exposure to data, analytics, or AI-driven software solutions.
- Familiarity with customer advocacy, lifecycle, or community marketing programs.
- Comfort working with cross-functional technical and marketing teams in a global organization.
- Demonstrable AI skills in the development of content creation and sales aids.
Base Salary Range: $76,500- $94,500
This position is also eligible to participate in our performance-based annual corporate bonus plan. Final base compensation is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, education, demonstrable experience, and allowance for future and continued salary growth.
