Performance Marketing Specialist, Senior is a sales-focused marketer responsible for influencing revenue growth within the Zebra Territory Sales team in North America and and in close partnership with the Zebra Channel team. This role requires an individual to use their marketing knowledge, along with critical thinking skills, to support the Marketing team’s overall objectives. A key function within this role is to leverage data to measure overall marketing performance and continuously optimize the marketing tactics to support sales success.
The Performance Marketing Specialist, Senior acts as a conduit of information and resources between Marketing and Sales and ultimately designs and implements strategic go-to-market plans for specific target audiences. These plans will include multiple channels and touchpoints such as email, contentication, digital advertising, sales enablement materials, and events.
This position requires hybrid work in the Lincolnshire, IL office.
Responsibilities- Supports the design and execution of holistic, omnichannel marketing programs specific to the Territory account targets across all verticals
- Orchestrates tactics through partnership with various execution teams, such as email, paid media, and events
- Facilitates ongoing cross-functional collaboration with sales, sales strategy, vertical/field marketing, and analytic teams (e.g., annual planning, quarterly business reviews)
- Acts as day-to-day partner with Territory Sales managers and teams to ensure alignment
- Measures and communicates performance against key metrics such as customer engagement, indirect, and direct marketing influence on revenue through marketing performance dashboards and analytic insights
- Follows a test-and-learn approach to marketing tactics and provides insights and recommendations based on learnings
- Champions, and in some cases works closely with, tools and tactics such as Outreach, Linked In Sales Navigator, intent data and advertising platforms, sales CRM, marketing automation, and audience segmentation
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Understanding or ability to learn various marketing and sales tools including Outreach, Marketing Automation, Salesforce, intent data platforms such as Demandbase, and Linked In Sales Navigator
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across sales and marketing functions
- Strong critical thinking skills to formulate plans, monitor performance, and optimize programs over time
- Sales and customer-minded professional
- Experience in analytics and digital marketing ideal
- “Can-do” attitude and team player
- Time management skills to manage multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced environment
