Job Description

The Senior Specialist, Influencer Marketing will play a key role in driving all influencer‑related marketing programs. This individual will work closely with cross‑functional partners (Legal, Strategy, Creative, Social Media, Product, CRM, Loyalty, Paid) and external partners (Agencies, Influencers, VIPs) to lead programs that ladder up to our global marketing strategy

Biz goals. This role will be responsible for project management, strategy and optimization, product sampling and event coordination support, expanding our roster of tried‑and‑true brand advocates, and more.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

Responsibilities Program Management and Strategic Ownership
  • Manage and drive the growth of the Abercrombie & Fitch and abercrombie kids creator ecosystem while implementing proven and innovative tactics aligned with the broader marketing strategy.
  • Lead seasonal brainstorm and planning sessions to integrate creator activations into overarching marketing campaigns, ensuring cohesion with other brand tactics.
  • Manage strategy & execution of influencer programs for brand and/or product campaigns, including agency relationships, campaign briefs, promotion calendar, product seeding Bai, and performance reporting.
  • Handle casting, briefs, product seeding, travel logistics, and performance for all brand‑strategy‑idea events, including single‑event attendance, campaign photoshoots, and multi‑day influencer trips.
  • Lead strategy & execution of Abercrombie’s ambassador program (Creator Suite), focused on growing and nurturing a community that builds brand love, product awareness, customer insights,jq and engagement; oversee the Associate Specialist role dedicated to the program.
  • Review and approve influencer content to ensure deliverables are brand‑right and comply with FTC guidelines.
  • Source and nurture relationships with creators to drive mass brand awareness, build affinity, and encourage product consideration and conversion, including vetting and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop and execute gifting and product seeding strategies focused on priority products.
  • Negotiate contracts with creators, talent agencies, and new vendors.

Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Manage external vendors/agencies on strategy, briefing, tactics, execution, and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams on casting and creator projections when necessary.
  • Coordinate with brand strategy and affiliate teams to plan creator content calendars and briefs.
  • Partner with other channel owners (PR, social, paid media, e‑comm, etc.) to maximize influencer content exposure.
  • Integrate program plans and deliverables into existing cross‑functional processes.
  • Participate in cross‑functional marketing planning for team visibility and leadership buy‑in.
Insights & Reporting
  • Set clear program performance goals and own reporting across weekly, monthly, and seasonal cycles.
  • Share status and insights with the Senior Influencer Manager, marketing leadership, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Drive robust test‑and‑learn strategies to maximize effectiveness; present findings to the Senior Influencer Manager.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to keep the brand at the forefront of influencer marketing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, preferably for large lifestyle/fashion brands.
  • 3+ years of experience with program development/management, with influencer or ambassador programs preferred.
  • Experience managing an external agency vendor/partner preferred.
  • Existing relationships with relevant influencers expected.
  • High level of critical thinking, curiosity, and ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to analyze abstract data to build comprehensive performance stories.
  • Strong project management skills (timeline development, budgeting).
  • Collaborative team player able to rally cross‑functional teammates.
  • Strong relationship development, and written/verbal communication skills.
