Director, Government Marketing Strategy
We are seeking an experienced, digitally savvy, and data‑driven leader to drive robust and integrated marketing demand generation strategies for the Government Legal & Risk markets. This is a strategic, cross‑functional leadership role who works closely with the segment President, General Managers, sales leadership, and multiple marketing capabilities. This role requires strong experimentation, innovation, and cross‑functional leadership, and a self‑motivated individual with strong analytical background and communication skills.
Aboutthe Role
- Deeply understand the Government segments' go‑to‑market strategies, insights, personas, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence to translate business goals into marketing strategies.
- Partner closely across the marketing organization to bring strategies and plans to life through thoughtful planning, integration of relevant content, and effective translation into demand generation programs and activities.
- Own creation, planning, and activation of innovative marketing strategies for the Gov Legal and Gov Risk segments, with strong focus on transforming and optimizing digital channels, partnering closely with sales, demand generation, and product marketing groups to build and align on upfront strategy and prioritization.
- Forecast, measure, analyze, and report the impact of campaign and demand generation activities on marketing and sales pipeline, revenue, and demand funnel velocity.
- Deliver effective marketing strategies to fuel the sales funnel and build pipeline, from marketing qualified lead to closed sale.
- Continuously monitor the success of the planning process and identify efficiencies, opportunities to optimize, and leverage best practices.
- Consistently monitor performance data of assigned sub‑segment; derive insight and action items to leadership team and key stakeholders throughout the business.
- Must be based in the United States.
- 8+ years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or growth marketing, with deep understanding of marketing frameworks and channel mix activation.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills across multiple levels and functions.
- Proven ability to develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, measuring, and reporting on marketing metrics.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- ABM and Government industry‑specific experience a plus; deep understanding of modern demand generation technologies, platforms, and systems.
