Blue Forest is looking for an Events Coordinator who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative to join their expanding team. This position is pivotal in designing and executing impactful events that strengthen relationships with donors and investors, thereby enhancing Blue Forest’s recognition as a leader in conservation finance. The Events Coordinator will oversee a variety of experiences, ranging from intimate donor dinners to significant international conferences such as Climate Week and COP.
The role requires the ability to plan, manage logistics, and visualize event atmospheres that align with Blue Forest’s mission and values. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to curate engaging content and messaging strategies that effectively engage different stakeholder groups.
- Research, plan, and execute donor and investor stewardship events.
- Lead event design and atmosphere-setting.
- Develop event strategies and coordinate all logistics.
- Serve as the primary contact for event speakers and participants.
- Manage attendee communications and prepare briefing materials.
- Direct Blue Forest’s presence at major convenings and secure speaking roles.
- Collaborate with Communications team on event promotion.
- Support agenda development for company team retreats.
- Standardize event processes and develop company-wide templates.
- Support site visit logistics and apply lessons learned for future events.
- 3–5 years of event management experience.
- Experience in preparing for events through research and stakeholder mapping.
- Ability to define objectives and translate goals into actionable plans.
- Proficiency with event management platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Relevant experience in conservation or climate-related events is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
