A proud UK manufacturer, we have successfully developed our commercial activity across a wide range of market sectors including timber machining & sales, a DIY superstore, and garden building manufacturing and retail to both the trade and consumers.

This activity includes TV campaigns, press advertising, print marketing, exhibitions & events - as well as digital channels and social media.

Your Role

As a Content & Social Media Associate, you would work with different areas across the business and our partners to support in delivery of best-in-class content and compelling and appropriate conversation with our customers. This would be focused on promoting our award-winning Tiger and Tiger Modular consumer brands, growing their brand awareness and reach online and supporting the profile of our 30+ showsites.

You will be part of a marketing team delivering engaging content that connects with customers and influencers, and which meets business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The main focus of this role covers:

  • Creating relevant, original high quality content to attract, engage and support the customer journey (blog writing, articles, posts & supporting multimedia projects)
  • Supporting the publication of this content across a variety of social platforms and e-commerce sites
  • Influencer management, including outreach, relationship management, briefing, content delivery and performance tracking
  • Developing a content editorial calendar with the marketing team, and to plan specific, timely content programmes
  • Support PR activities with external agency and manage enquiries, briefs and approvals
  • Support the planning and managing photoshoots, including pre-production, shoot-day coordination and post-shoot content delivery
  • Monitor and report on content metrics
  • Actively contribute to campaigns and product projects as appropriate
What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate would need to have the drive to develop their experience and skills in content and social marketing with

  • Demonstrable content creation ability
  • Good copy writing and excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of website content management system
  • Experience of social media and blog management Solid experience of content design & creative software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
    Demonstrable knowledge of SEO
  • A keen attention to detail under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your time and skills to deliver projects

As well as an appetite to build on their existing skills and learn new ones, the ideal candidate would also have the following desirable attributes:

  • Photo & video editing skills
  • Understanding of HTML
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Excellent English grammar and spelling
  • Ability to create and maintain good working relationships
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics & SEO tools

The successful candidate(s) would ideally have direct experience of content creation, but talent, attitude and work ethic are more important.

This is a hybrid role so applicants will need to be able to regularly commute to our North Leeds office. We would prefer this to be a full-time position but we are open to considering applicants looking for a part-time role.
