Public Relations Account Manager

Join us as a Public Relations Account Manager at Abode Worldwide.

Setup

100% remote, with quarterly team meet‑ups and time together at industry events.

Type

Full‑time.

The Role

We are looking for a confident, personable, and organised PR Account Manager to join our award‑winning PR agency. Whether you come from an in‑house PR background or are currently an Agency Account Executive or Senior Account Executive ready to step up, this hands‑on role will have you supporting multiple client accounts, building relationships with senior executives, and delivering standout PR campaigns that drive reputation, visibility and impact.

Self‑motivated, resilient, and able to balance strategic thinking with creative execution, you will receive support from Senior Account Managers and Account Directors yet have autonomy to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day account management of retained clients across hospitality tech sectors.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR plans that achieve clients’ business goals – from messaging and positioning to tactical ideas.
  • Generate and deliver proactive PR ideas and campaigns, including press releases, case studies, thought leadership, award entries, events, podcasts and webinars.
  • Provide confident strategic counsel to clients, including founders and C‑suite executives.
  • Build strong journalist relationships and secure impactful media coverage.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and news to spot reactive opportunities and turn them into PR campaigns.
  • Conduct research and basic data analysis to inform campaigns, measure impact, and support reporting.
  • Track, analyse, and report on PR results.
What we’re looking for

You’re proactive, creative, and thrive in a fast‑moving environment. You balance strong organisation with compelling storytelling and curiosity about the industries we serve.

You’ll bring
  • Experience in a PR role with a record of successful campaigns.
  • Examples of campaigns, media coverage, or client wins that you have directly contributed to.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise across multiple clients.
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for detail and an ability to adapt tone and style.
  • Strong editorial judgement: able to find compelling hooks and industry angles – not just the obvious headline.
  • Confidence in leading client calls, presenting ideas, and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with plenty of initiative.
  • Curiosity about hospitality, travel, property, and technology – and a habit of keeping up with industry trends.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical subject matter and turn it into clear, engaging stories.
  • Basic data analysis skills to support campaign development, measurement, and reporting.
What success looks like
  • Clients trust you to manage their PR day‑to‑day with confidence and creativity.
  • You bring energy and fresh thinking to campaigns, helping to move accounts forward.
  • You secure meaningful media opportunities.
  • You stay ahead of industry news and react quickly to opportunities.
  • You keep the team updated and projects on track, without needing reminders.
  • You build excellent relationships with colleagues who value you.
It’s a bonus if you have
  • Experience in B2B PR, ideally in tech, travel, hospitality, or property sectors.
  • Established media relationships in business, technology, or travel press.
  • Experience with PR tools and media monitoring tools, such as Muck Rack.
What we offer
  • Additional 1 day leave in your Birthday month.
  • Additional Christmas week closure – extra time to spend with family and friends.
  • 1 month paid sabbatical after 5 years’ service.
  • Wellness fund – supporting holistic health and treatments.
  • Coaching and training budget – empowering you to grow your skills and career.
  • Work where it’s best for you – remote working to suit your lifestyle.
  • Career development focus – structured opportunities for progression.
  • Planned quarterly team days – we value getting together in person when we can.
