We have an exciting opportunity for a communications all-rounder to join our modern, creative, award-winning team, where you will play your part in many of our high-profile communications priorities.
Working with campaign leads, you will help the delivery of multi-channel communications. This will include communications work across a wider range of priority areas for the Council. From our regeneration and investment projects to our highways maintenance, through to waste and recycling and promoting our green spaces, this role will give the successful candidate a taste of a wide range of the Council's work.
In line with our digital-first approach you will maximise digital channels including social media and have a sound PR sense to carry out media relations work as well as supporting and delivering marketing campaigns.
Working at pace, you will help create great content to deliver our messages to our key audiences and play your part in continuing to evaluate, grow and develop our channels.
You will also be building trusted relationships with senior leaders as you work to define communications priorities and meet objectives to evidence value in all that we do.
You will be joining an multi-award-winning Council and a dedicated comms team which shares a joint ambition to deliver the best in public sector communications and is currently the Comms
2.0 Unawards comms team of the year.
