Position Overview

As guardian of our brand tone of voice and written word, you’ll lead and own the development of our core communications. Your work will support IMG’s reputation as a leading global sports marketing agency.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and write compelling content for the agency’s digital platforms, ensuring consistency that effectively communicates services, values, and industry expertise.
  • Create persuasive B2B & B2C marketing content to nurture leads and build client relationships.
  • Lead Linked In strategy and collaborate with executives to develop thought‑leadership content, including blog posts, opinion pieces, and interviews.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Communications Team to draft key messaging for public‑relations campaigns.
  • Research industry trends and insights to keep content relevant, innovative, and impactful.
  • Edit and proofread marketing & sales materials such as RFP responses, sales decks, and other communications to maintain high quality across all channels.
  • Develop industry‑event content, concept panel‑talk themes, and content ideas.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the sports‑marketing landscape to craft industry‑specific narratives that enhance brand authority.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or editorial roles, preferably within a marketing or agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in writing across various formats and platforms.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences, from social media to executive communications.
  • Experience writing B2B & B2C content and understanding of digital‑marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital content optimisation.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for sports with an understanding of the sports‑marketing industry (plus).
  • Experience integrating AI tools to improve idea generation and workflow (plus).
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position based at Chiswick Park, with flexibility for remote working as appropriate.
  • Working hours:

    09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. Unsocial hours and travel may be required as dictated by business demands.
  • Adaptation to new systems and technologies as needed.
