Communications Officer

A successful housing provider in the North East is looking for a Communications Officer to keep colleagues informed and engaged whilst supporting a clear organisational vision through events coordination, content creation and internal communications.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has worked as a Communications Officer, Internal Engagement Officer, Communications Executive, Employee Engagement Officer, or in a similar colleague engagement role.

• Creating clear, engaging content across internal channels
• Supporting colleague engagement and helping keep teams informed and connected
• Managing internal platforms and helping improve channel performance
• Supporting corporate events and engagement activity across the organisation
• Working collaboratively with teams to bring organisational strategy to life
• Using digital tools, analytics, and content management systems to support internal engagement

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience
• A communications-related qualification
• Experience in colleague engagement, content creation or internal messaging
• Confidence using content management systems and digital marketing methods
• Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A collaborative approach and a full UK driving licence
• Housing sector experience
