Role Description
This isn’t a fully built marketing engine – it’s an opportunity to create one. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable starting from a blank slate, building momentum quickly, and figuring out what drives results through action. That could mean launching Linked In outreach, reconnecting with existing contacts, or running simple email campaigns and then iterating based on what works.
You won’t be handed a rigid playbook or large ad budgets. Instead, you’ll be expected to make smart bets, test quickly, and build on what works. This isn’t about random experimentation, it’s about applying judgement, learning fast, and improving continuously.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who prefers getting work live over perfecting plans, and who is motivated by solving real problems, not building slide decks. There is strong leadership support, but day to day, you’ll own the function, driving activity, learning from results and shaping how growth marketing is done here. We’re not looking for someone to “support marketing”, we’re looking for someone to build and drive it.
What You’ll Do
Demand & Lead Generation
Generate inbound and outbound‑assisted leads for software and services
Launch simple, effective campaigns quickly – no long planning cycles
Test channels, double down on what works, and drop what doesn’t
Campaign Execution (Hands‑On)
Launch direct outreach across Linked In, email, and existing networks
Get campaigns live quickly – even if they’re simple – and improve over time
Own messaging, targeting, follow‑ups, and iteration
Sales‑Aligned Campaigns / ABM‑Lite
Partner closely with sales on priority accounts
Support targeted outreach and engagement strategies
Align messaging and timing to drive real conversations and pipeline
Measurement & Reporting
Track lead volume, quality, and sales acceptance
Report clearly on what’s working, what isn’t and adjust quickly
Focus on pipeline impact – not vanity metrics
Collaboration & Execution
Own outcomes end‑to‑end – from idea to execution to results
Work resourcefully, using contractors when needed (and approved)
Make progress without waiting for perfect resources or conditions
What We’re Looking For
Required
2+ years of experience in growth, demand generation, or B2B marketing
Experience supporting or executing lead generation campaigns with measurable results
Hands‑on experience launching and running campaigns (e.g., email, Linked In, outreach)
Power user of AI tools using them to accelerate execution, improve messaging and test ideas rapidly
Comfortable working in an evolving environment without a fixed playbook
Resourceful and proactive – able to move ideas forward with limited structure or budget
Good instincts for testing ideas, learning quickly, and improving performance over time
Takes ownership of work and follows through on execution
Strong communication skills and a data‑informed mindset
Must currently reside in Canada or the USA
Nice to Have
Experience with ABM or targeted account campaigns
Familiarity with CRM or marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot)
Background in B2B, SaaS, services, or learning/education

Increasing engagement and early traction across channels (e.g., Linked In, email)
A growing understanding of what messaging, channels, and approaches drive results
Steady improvement in lead quality and conversion over time
Clear visibility into what’s working, with regular adjustments based on results
Momentum built toward a more structured and repeatable growth approach
