Supports Communications EMEAI leadership in identifying, developing, and maintaining excellent processes, providing valuable insights, crisis communication programs, and media strategy. Provides regional support in the Netherlands for effective responses during high‑risk situations.
A Day in the LifeHelps establish foundational elements to guide the Communications EMEAI team towards excellence, serves as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, sets priorities and guardrails, and works with the regional communications leadership team to maintain an integrated and consistent approach to strategy development. Implements a culture of data‑driven decision making and establishes key performance indicators.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Partner with regional leadership and a cross‑functional team to develop and implement comprehensive, regional communications strategies that align with company strategy and goals.
- Identify tools and best practices in the communications landscape and implement new ways of working across the organization to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish key performance indicators to measure progress towards team goals, using data to measure effectiveness, identify improvement areas, and lead positive change.
- Work with the Communications EMEAI leadership team to establish, maintain, and update critical processes and procedures and promote adherence.
- Establish tools and resources in support of growth and development within the Communications EMEAI team.
- Evolve the EMEAI crisis communications program, including governance, playbooks, escalation protocols, training programs, and other preparedness activities.
- Act as the (Crisis) Communications lead for the Netherlands as needed.
- Own and coordinate agency support, including crisis communications support and speaker/media training.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a related field.
- Fluency in Dutch and near‑fluency in English; additional language preferred.
