Basic-Fit is a fast-growing, international brand with a clear mission: making fitness accessible and a habit people love. We operate across 6 European markets and are building a brand that is present in people's everyday lives - not just when they think about going to the gym.

Social is not a support channel for us. It is a core driver of mental availability, distinctiveness and long-term brand growth.

This Is What Your Role Looks Like We are looking for a Senior Social Specialist at our International HQ in Hoofddorp. This is not solely a coordination role, and not a pure content role. You will own how social contributes to brand growth across markets: setting direction, defining standards, and raising the level of both thinking and execution.

You work closely with local teams across our countries, our international team in Hoofddorp, our creator marketeer and creative agencies: challenging them, sharpening thinking and improving output.

Your Responsibilities Define and continuously sharpen the role of social within our marketing strategy

Translate brand strategy into clear, usable frameworks (formats, structures, playbooks)
Judge content rigorously on brand impact and performance - not just engagement

Build learning loops that systematically improve creative output

Identify what works, scale it across markets, and cut what doesn’tChallenge agencies on both creative quality and media effectiveness

Connect social with Brand, Performance, PR and CRM to avoid fragmentation

Define KPIs that reflect real impact (reach, memory, linkage) - not vanity metrics

Who Are You?

You’re not just experienced in social, you have a clear point of view on how it drives growth.

Additionally, we’re looking for someone who has:5+ years of experience in social, brand or digital strategy (brand or agency side)
Strong understanding of paid social and platform mechanics

Ability to distinguish between short-term performance and long-term brand effects

A data-driven mindset

Comfortable working with AI tools to improve speed, quality and scalability

Excellent communication skills in English Experience in working across markets is a plus

And you’re someone who:

Has strong convictions, but knows how to back them up Thinks in systems and patterns, not isolated one-offs

Is as comfortable in a performance dashboard as in a creative review

Knows how to balance speed, scale and quality

Salary: A monthly gross salary between €4.300 and €5.600 based on 40 hours, depending on your experience and background.
