About the Role
Checkpoint One Apparel is Canada's leading source for blank apparel and direct‑to‑film transfers. We operate 12 e‑commerce websites serving both B2B and B2C customers — from small business owners to large‑scale decorators — and email is one of our most important growth channels.
We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist who can own the channel end to end: design, build, send, and optimize. This isn’t a one‑brand, one‑audience role. You’ll be managing campaigns and automations across a diverse portfolio of sites, switching context between B2B and B2C audiences, and keeping quality consistent across all of them.
What You’ll Do- Build and manage email campaigns across 12 websites using Klaviyo and Mailchimp
- Design emails, homepage banners, and supporting creative assets that are on‑brand and conversion‑focused
- Set up and maintain automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post‑purchase, win‑back, and more)
- Execute adhoc campaigns for promotions, product launches, and seasonal moments
- Segment audiences effectively for both B2B and B2C sends
- Maintain account health across all sending platforms, including list hygiene, suppression management, and deliverability monitoring
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on email marketing experience (required)
- Proficiency in both Klaviyo and Mailchimp (required)
- Solid graphic design skills (Canva is preferred)
- Experience building and optimizing automated flows, not just one‑off sends
- Comfort working across multiple brands or websites simultaneously
- Familiarity with AI tools for copywriting, design, or workflow efficiency
- Solid understanding of email deliverability, list hygiene, and segmentation best practices
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities without things slipping
- Use AI tools to increase output quality and speed
- Monitor performance and report on key metrics — open rate, click rate, revenue, deliverability
- Collaborate with the marketing and web teams to keep messaging aligned across channels
