DescriptionWe’re excited to expand our social media presence for both our UK business, Vintage Cash Cow, and our European sister company, Arcavindi, based in a fantastic space just outside of Arnhem. Our Brand & Communications team, as part of the wider Marketing function, will help drive this growth. We’re looking for a creative and energetic social media enthusiast who is ready to kickstart their career by experimenting with creative ideas in a fast-paced environment.
About the role:
This full-time internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience coordinating social media operations for multiple brands and regions. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you’ll be directly involved in content planning, scheduling, and creation, with opportunities to support wider marketing campaigns and contribute your own ideas to shape our brand presence.
You’ll receive mentorship and guidance from an experienced Social Media Manager, along with exposure to the full spectrum of digital marketing through our wider team. This includes social‑first content strategy, campaign planning, creative development, and multi‑market brand coordination. Along the way, you’ll gain practical skills using industry‑standard tools such as Sprout Social, Notion, Canva, and Cap Cut, while building a portfolio of real campaigns and content you can showcase professionally.
The role also offers hybrid working flexibility, combining collaboration at our Arnhem office with remote work, and occasional travel to our UK head offices. It’s ideal for someone eager to learn more about social media, develop hands‑on expertise, and make a tangible impact with a dynamic team.
This role will require working onsite at our premises in Duiven and Dieren, once a week.
Key ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be doing:
- Schedule social media content using Sprout Social, based on the content calendar prepared by the Social Media Manager.
- Maintain and update the Social Media Calendar within Sprout Social, ensuring content is published accurately and on time.
- Help produce visual and written content, including social-first photography and videography using an iPhone, simple graphics and carousels using Canva, and short-form videos using Cap Cut.
- Conduct research on social media channels to identify trends, campaign ideas and other opportunities to support ongoing strategy development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with wider Marketing campaigns, brand messaging, and operational developments.
- Stay informed of platform updates and social media best practices.
- Assist with coordinating casting and stock for content shoots.
- Provide additional administrative and operational support to the Social Media Manager as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Fluent in Dutch or German, and comfortable speaking and writing in English.
- Clear and effective communicator, both in writing and speaking.
- Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple tasks or deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiar with social media platforms, trends, and what makes engaging social-first content.
- Creative, curious, and confident in pitching new ideas.
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from the Social Media Manager.
- Excited to grow and contribute to a fast-paced Brand & Communications team.
