About the RoleWe are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager – Consumer Tissue to join our Brand Marketing team. In this role, you will support the delivery of marketing activity across our leading tissue brands—
Plenty, Cushelle and Velvet
—playing a key part in driving brand growth and consumer engagement.
You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day campaign execution, ensuring activity is delivered effectively against agreed objectives and KPIs. This is a full‑time, hybrid role
, with 3 days in our Didsbury office and up to 2 days working from home
.
- Support the Senior Brand Manager in delivering ATL and BTL marketing plans in line with global strategy
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, global stakeholders, agencies and retail partners
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support brand strategy, product launches and media activity
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on digital and social channels
- Manage external agencies (media, PR, digital), including briefing, creative development, performance tracking and reporting
- Own and deliver social media content for Plenty and Cushelle, managing content calendars and performance
- Ensure brand content and assets are optimised for retailer platforms
- Support the management and development of brand websites in collaboration with internal digital teams
- Work with internal teams to enhance ratings and reviews and support DTC activity
- Support PR campaigns and broader brand initiatives
- Manage allocated budgets, including tracking spend, raising POs and reconciling monthly costs
- Analyse market, consumer and performance data to inform decision‑making and track KPIs
- Support product development, including packaging updates and regulatory changes
- Coordinate artwork development, including copy, approvals and timelines
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the brand team
- Experience working within a marketing environment – multi‑discipline is a distinct advantage (Digital, TV etc)
- FMCG experience is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working cross‑functionally
- Confidence in managing projects and delivering to deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data and draw insights
- Confidence using tools such as Excel and Power Point
- A proactive, positive “can‑do” attitude
A degree in business or marketing is helpful, but we value skills, potential and mindset just as much.
