Role Description

Deep Thought Media & Marketing Co. is seeking a Paid Media Specialist with expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads for a full‑time, on‑site position in Bloubergstrand. This role involves planning, implementing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms.

Location:

Blouberg, Cape Town

Position:
Permanent, in‑office

Salary: R20,000 per month

Experience:

Minimum 3 years

Key Responsibilities
  • Meetings with clients to show results and discuss strategy
  • Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max and other relevant campaign types
  • Create, manage and optimise Meta Ads campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
  • Handle PPC media buying, campaign structuring, audience targeting, keyword planning, ad copy input and budget management
  • Set up and manage tracking, including Google Ads conversions, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and event tracking
  • Work within Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager and Business Settings, including connecting accounts, managing user access, pixels, pages and ad accounts
  • Prepare clear performance reports and provide insights on campaign results, learnings and recommendations
  • Monitor campaign performance and make proactive changes to improve results
  • Assist with campaign planning, setup, testing and ongoing optimisation across different industries
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on experience in Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Strong experience with Google Ads PPC campaign management and reporting
  • Strong experience with Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager, Pixel, event tracking and reporting
  • Experience with tracking setups, conversion tracking and analytics
  • Good understanding of media buying, lead generation and performance-focused advertising
  • Ability to work accurately, manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines
  • Must be based in Cape Town and able to work from our office in Blouberg
  • This is not a hybrid or remote position
