. We’re looking for a Marketing Advisor for a 12‑month Term to join our diverse & vibrant team and become part of the ATCO family.
ATCO Energy operates two lines of business comprising its Energy and Home Services division and the Blue Flame Kitchen. The marketing team supports all lines through digital and traditional campaigns, internal and external communications, and brand development. If you join, you can expect laughter, debates, and dynamic strategy sessions.
Working as part of the ATCO Energy marketing team and reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Planning, this role will support Furnace Family, ATCO Energy Home Services, and Blue Flame Kitchen. Your role is pivotal to implementing the annual marketing calendar and associated campaigns and programs, identifying opportunities for driving efficiency and growth.
Ownership of Brand Portfolios- Opportunity Identification:
Identify and optimize acquisition and repeat purchase campaigns through data‑driven insights, performance analysis, and market trends. - Strategic Positioning:
Drive adoption by creating a strong brand identity, ensuring differentiated and consistent messaging across growth marketing channels. - Customer Experience Optimization:
Lead the enhancement of the customer journey by identifying key touchpoints and pain points, using customer feedback, analytics, and best practices to strategize improvements.
- Annual Planning:
Support the Marketing Manager in developing the annual marketing strategy and calendar, providing thoughtful recommendations to achieve business plan growth and acquisition goals. - Project Management:
Accountable for end‑to‑end project management of acquisition‑focused campaigns and projects, delivering on time and within budget. - Go‑to‑Market Planning:
Work cross‑functionally with internal teams and agency partners to develop and implement campaign go‑to‑market plans.
- Stakeholder Management:
Build trust and credibility with internal stakeholders to align on growth and acquisition priorities. - Marketing Thought Leadership:
Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and recommendations based on market insights and data. - Team Ambassadorship:
Champion the brand and marketing values, fostering a positive environment. - Performance Analysis:
Maintain a sound understanding of business and campaign performance, working with digital teams and agency partners. - Interpretation:
Analyze campaign results to extract actionable insights for future strategies. - Reporting:
Prepare and facilitate campaign and monthly brand performance reporting to stakeholder groups. - KPI Ownership:
Own and maintain a sound understanding of acquisition KPIs.
- Performance Analysis:
Keep a comprehensive understanding of campaign effectiveness, identifying optimization opportunities. - Interpretation:
Analyze results to inform future strategies. - Reporting:
Deliver accurate attribution and measurement across channels. - KPI Ownership:
Own and maintain acquisition KPI understanding.

- 2‑5 years of experience as a marketing generalist, marketing advisory, or marketing PM.
- Proven track record leading cross‑functional teams in large‑scale, multi‑channel campaigns.
- Ability to identify target audience preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Highly organized in managing campaign documentation: workback schedules, go‑to‑market plans, briefs, and marketing calendars.
- Effective at building stakeholder rapport and comfortable acting in an advisory capacity.
- Sound understanding of marketing analytics, KPI tracking, and performance interpretation.
- Broad knowledge of channel marketing tactics.
- Self‑directed, proactive, and able to execute projects independently.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Comfortable with evolving duties as the business grows.
