Personal PR & Branding Executive based in South Africa.
Shaping, protecting, and amplifying the public image of a high‑profile individual across media, digital platforms, and public appearances.
Responsible for executing a cohesive personal branding strategy, ensuring consistency of voice, narrative, and visual identity across all channels. Will manage media relationships, coordinate PR opportunities, and support thought leadership initiatives.
Accountabilities- Support the execution and evolution of a personal brand strategy, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all public‑facing channels.
- Manage media relations activities including press kits, media briefs, outreach efforts, and coordination of interviews, features, and speaking engagements.
- Oversee and execute social media content planning, scheduling, and publishing across platforms such as Linked In, Instagram, and X, ensuring engagement and alignment with brand goals.
- Develop and refine written content including social copy, talking points, articles, and thought leadership pieces, including ghostwriting when required.
- Coordinate logistics and preparation for public events, appearances, panels, and keynotes, ensuring strong brand presentation and readiness.
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and online presence, proactively identifying reputational risks and supporting crisis communications when needed.
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and external stakeholders to maintain a high‑quality and consistent brand presence across all formats.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PR, executive communications, personal branding, or media relations, ideally supporting senior executives or high‑profile individuals.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences.
- Strong expertise in social media strategy, digital branding, and content distribution across major platforms.
- Proven experience working with media professionals, influencers, agencies, or public‑facing stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong project management skills with a creative, resourceful, and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English is required;
Russian fluency is a strong advantage, and additional languages are a plus.
