We help traders make confident, informed decisions through side‑by‑side comparisons, verified reviews, and data‑backed insights. The futures category now represents approximately 50% of company revenue and has significant upside, yet it lacks dedicated ownership, domain expertise, and innovation. This role exists to fix that.

Mission

The Head of Futures owns the end‑to‑end development, quality, and growth of the futures category at PFM, ensuring it becomes the most trusted, accurate, and insightful resource for futures prop trading globally. This role is responsible for setting the standard for how futures firms are researched, compared, presented, and understood—combining deep domain expertise with strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate insights into high‑impact content and product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Build the most trusted and accurate futures knowledge layer (first 90 days → ongoing). Establish PFM as the most reliable source of truth for futures prop trading by deeply researching firms, identifying inconsistencies, and creating internal evaluation standards.
Own and elevate all futures content and narrative (first 60–90 days → ongoing). Turn insights into high‑quality, high‑impact content across SEO, social, and educational channels, defining tone, depth, and quality bars, and improving performance through clarity, authority, and differentiation.
Redefine how futures firms are presented and compared on the platform (quarter 1–2). Move from static comparison to insight‑driven product experience by improving firm structure, comparison logic, and introducing clearer frameworks and filters.
Drive continuous innovation in data, insights, and presentation (ongoing). Experiment with new formats and present data in ways that competitors are not thinking about, constantly questioning the best ways to display insights.
Take full ownership of the futures category performance (ongoing). Monitor traffic, engagement, and conversions; identify gaps and growth opportunities; prioritize work based on impact and act as the internal authority on all futures‑related matters.

Required Qualifications Must‑have

Domain expertise in futures trading and/or the prop trading ecosystem. Strong grasp of futures firm mechanics—rules, funding models, payouts, and restrictions—and ability to spot nuances and edge cases.
Analytical and research capability. Ability to break down complex systems, work with structured data and comparisons, and maintain high accuracy.
Content and communication skills. Ability to turn complex insights into clear, high‑quality written content with precision and clarity; experience creating educational, SEO, or analytical content.
Product thinking. Ability to think beyond content into how information is structured and presented; experience working with product teams or influencing product decisions; understanding of user behavior and decision‑making.
Ownership mindset. High ownership, strong judgment, comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from scratch.

Nice‑to‑have

Active presence in trading communities (especially X / Twitter).
Experience with prop firm evaluations or personal trading.
Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or data‑driven products.
Familiarity with SEO and content performance metrics.
