CREATE ENGAGING VIDEO CONTENT THAT CAPTURES THE SPIRIT OF WILDLIFE EDUCATION

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As our Video Editor, you will shape the visual content that defines how the world experiences Bushwise across our marketing platforms. By crafting high-performing ads for paid social, building engaging media for our websites and newsletters, and maintaining an organised asset library, you directly drive high-quality lead generation. Your storytelling ensures our training courses capture the attention of global audiences, pulling in the next generation of expert field guides and conservationists.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Paid Social Editing: Edit and package high-performing video ads for paid social according to brief, in strict alignment with our paid media strategy.

• Multi-Platform Content: Edit and package engaging video content for our other marketing channels, including websites, newsletters, events, and occasionally organic social media.

  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the wider marketing team to conceptualise fresh video content across our various marketing channels.

• Asset Library Management: Manage and organise our library of raw and edited video content to ensure the team has seamless, easy access to media when needed.

• Ingestion Optimisation: Create and optimise clear internal processes for effectively receiving and managing video content from various field sources.

• Process Alignment: Communicate clearly and timeously with the Operations team, following our established briefing, review, and submission workflows via our project management platform.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• 2+ years of experience creating high-performing, high-conversion Meta ad campaigns targeting a Gen Z audience in the UK, US, EU, and South African regions.

• 2+ years of experience creating high-performing, high-conversion Tik Tok ad campaigns targeting a Gen Z audience in the UK, US, EU, and South African regions.

• Complete fluency utilising Adobe Premiere Pro
  .

Bonus if you also have:

• A deep understanding of South African bush careers, the field guiding industry, and the wildlife conservation industry.

• Experience leveraging AI video tools to accelerate editing pipelines, automate formatting or smart-reframing, and rapidly scale short-form asset variations.

• Experience working within a fast-paced, agency-like marketing environment.

• Direct experience working operationally on Trello.
