The Marketing & Communications team facilitates the external-facing requirements of the organization by developing and maintaining our brand image, brand identity, and funder-required social media usage for summer programming and preparing for Fall/Winter tasks. Working in small groups or across departments, youth in these roles develop confidence and master skills used in writing, analysis, and workplace participation. These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle.
It's a great way to level up in a team setting where your voice and opinions genuinely make a difference daily.
Full-time summer employment contracts range from 8 to 16 weeks, May through September. Post-secondary students are welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position as part of their program requirements for a co-op or work placement. Contracts are funded by the Government of Canada and offered at the Ontario minimum wage. Please be aware that not all positions may be funded in all locations.
