Volunteer Marketing Assistant

Be a vital part of Combat Science:
Warrior Arts of Asia in Toronto, ON, as a Volunteer Marketing & Community Outreach Assistant. This hybrid role combines remote work with hands-on activities to promote Filipino martial arts and self-defense training.

As a volunteer, you will help support outreach initiatives that uplift and empower community members. Your responsibilities will include crafting engaging social media posts, organizing community events, and responding to inquiries with a trauma-informed approach. Building community connections through outreach is central to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and post content about classes and healing workshops

• Assist with email communications and marketing material creation

• Explore local outreach opportunities and community events

• Keep accurate contact lists and outreach logs

• Provide warm and professional responses to inquiries

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Background or interest in community outreach or service

• Research abilities for outreach enhancement

• Curiosity about Filipino martial arts and self-defense practices

• Reliability in managing both remote and in-person tasks
