Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Lightspeed, we’re looking for a Senior Director, Growth Marketing to join our global team and lead the charge in creating data‑driven growth strategies that drive revenue, optimize performance, and push our global customer acquisition efforts into new territory. You’ll be a key leader and owner in Lightspeed’s global marketing organization. Your mission will be to build scalable growth engines, improve conversion funnels, and enable data‑first decision‑making across our acquisition and lifecycle efforts.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Owning the strategy, performance, and leadership of four core teams: MAT (Marketing Automation), CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), Marketing Analytics, and Marketing AI.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing global team across MAT, CRO, AI, and Data, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Define and execute global growth strategies that align with Lightspeed’s business goals across markets and verticals.
  • Drive the use of experimentation and data analytics to optimize lead generation, lead scoring, conversion funnels, and retention efforts.
  • Own the global marketing tech stack and automation strategy to ensure scalable and efficient execution of campaigns.
  • Lead CRO efforts across web properties, collaborating with UX, design, and content teams to continually test and improve user journeys.
  • Work closely with the Information Systems team to implement new ways to leverage AI for marketing effectiveness and efficiency, including collaborating with sales teams to enrich prospects and customers profiles using generative AI.
  • Partner with the Data Office to define KPIs, build dashboards, and create a culture of performance measurement and iterative improvement.
  • Work cross‑functionally with regional leaders, product teams, and revenue operations to align on growth priorities and execution plans.
  • Establish a strong experimentation framework and test‑and‑learn culture within all teams under your purview.
What you need to bring:
  • 8–12+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or marketing operations, ideally in a global SaaS or eCommerce environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, including cross‑functional and remote teams.
  • Proven success in managing or scaling Marketing Automation/AI, CRO, and/or Data teams.
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot/Marketo, Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, Fivetran, Looker, GA4, Clay).
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of leveraging data to drive marketing performance.
  • Experience in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments and a passion for experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative, global mindset.
  • Fluency in English as a working language.
Even better if you have, but not necessary:
  • Experience in the POS, retail tech, or hospitality tech industries.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) as it relates to data collection and marketing practices.
You’ll enjoy:
  • A flexible work environment that empowers you to do your best work.
  • A culture that celebrates performance.
  • The chance to make an impact in a team that’s big enough for career growth but lean enough to make your voice heard.
  • Career‑defining opportunities.
Additional benefits:
  • Flexible paid time off and remote work policies.
  • Equity options.
  • Contributions to your pension plan.
  • Training opportunities to grow your skills and career.
  • Health and wellness credit.
  • Time off to volunteer and give back to your community.
  • Interest groups, employee‑led networks, social committees to sponsor sports teams.
  • Computer purchase program for a personal Mac Book.
  • Enhanced parental leave to support growing families.
