Founding Growth Marketer

The Founding Growth Marketer will build and execute the growth marketing playbook to enable Healthtech-1 to reach 100% of the UK GP practice market. You will focus initially on two marketing channels – content distribution and community – and develop inbound acquisition activities to replace outbound sales.

Objectives & Key Results – First 3 Months

Objectives: Nurture potential customers from problem unaware to interested in Healthtech-1.

  • Generate 100 leads per month
  • Run 5 experiments
  • Set up accurate measurement and attribution
  • Growth team grades hand‑over process as 5/5
  • Nurture an engaged community of 100 by running 3 high‑impact events
Projects & Milestones – First 3 Months By Month 1 – Get the lay of the land & implement quick wins
  • Understood context, current state, and biggest opportunities
  • Audited existing marketing activity
  • Built a strategy for nurturing leads using content marketing (channel
    1)
  • Set up attribution tracking
  • Improved landing pages and website conversion with measurable uplift
  • Identified and implemented 3 quick wins
  • Generated 25 leads from channel 1
By Month 2 – Double down on signals and start the 2nd channel
  • Built a strategy for community and events (channel
    2)
  • Identified and implemented 3 quick wins for this channel
  • Launched a referral or ambassador programme
  • Hosted at least one community‑building touchpoint
  • Generated 50 leads from all channels
  • Reporting is easy and accurate
By Month 3 – Scale your channels
  • Built automations that increase activity in both channels
  • Scaled both channels to national coverage
  • Planned a quarter of community events
  • Generated 100 leads from all channels
Scope of the Role
  • Your north‑star metric (qualified leads generated) and reporting

Responsibilities You Do Not Own
  • Video content creation (distribute only)

Required Experience
  • Generalist – optimised multiple channels before
  • Analytically sharp – set up proper measurement and data‑driven decisions
  • Experimental mindset – form hypotheses, test cheaply, adjust quickly
  • Entrepreneurial – startup or founder experience a plus; comfortable with ambiguity and pace
  • Strong communicator – connect with NHS staff; community focus
  • Transparent – share what works and flag what does not without chasing for updates
Nice to Have Experience
  • Marketing to a professional or practitioner audience (healthcare, legal, finance, education)
  • Run a referral or ambassador programme before
  • Hands‑on experience with paid marketing
  • Built marketing automations
Hiring Process
  • Intro chat – 20 minutes

    Salary: £55,000 – £65,000.

    Location:

    Stratford, London – in office 4 days a week, 1 day working from home.
