Part Time Communications Manager Remote

Join Animal Alliance of Canada as a part time Communications Manager and support animal protection efforts through engaging digital content. Develop and distribute impactful communications strategies across multiple channels.

This six-month contract position, with a possibility of renewal, focuses on public education, advocacy, and fundraising. The Communications Manager will be instrumental in drafting emails, social media, and other content to represent our mission effectively. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer and digital communicator, dedicated to translating complex issues into clear messages for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft emails, social media posts, and website copy

• Repurpose long-form content for digital channels

• Manage scheduling and posting across platforms

• Assist with proofreading and quality control

• Monitor engagement on social media and trends

Requirements:

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Experience in drafting nonprofit communication content

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics
