We’re looking for a creative and commercially minded marketer who’s full of ideas and loves seeing them come to life. As Senior Marketing Executive in the DK Children’s team, you’ll help bring our award-winning children’s books to readers everywhere, from inspiring non-fiction to fun and imaginative new fiction. You’ll play a key part in shaping campaigns that spark curiosity, build our brands, and connect with families and book lovers alike.

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll plan and deliver campaigns that make an impact. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Marketing, PR, Editorial and Sales to make every campaign as creative and effective as possible, from initial concept through to results reporting.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering consumer marketing campaigns across digital, print, and partnerships
  • Work with authors, agents, and brand partners to maximise visibility and promotional opportunities
  • Support on high‑profile campaigns and projects with the Senior Marketing Manager
  • Brief and manage the creation of assets, from social media content and POS to catalogues and video
  • Deliver seasonal and brand campaigns (for example, Christmas or retailer promotions)
  • Review campaign results and share insights to help shape future activity
  • Manage budgets, approvals, and timelines with care and attention to detail

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Creative and organised with a real enthusiasm for bringing ideas to life
  • Enjoys working with others and can juggle multiple projects at once
  • Commercially aware, always thinking about how marketing can drive sales and engagement
  • Comfortable analysing results and suggesting what could be done differently next time
  • A clear communicator who can quickly build strong relationships
  • Above all, passionate about children’s books and the power they have to inspire young readers

In return, you’ll join a collaborative, supportive team where creativity is encouraged and no two days are the same. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make your mark on some of DK’s most exciting children’s publishing and to grow your experience across every part of marketing.

Salary:Up to £33,000 (depending on experience)
