The CRM & Web Specialist supports digital marketing campaigns and contributes to the overall success of Coast Hotels by helping optimize and update the brand website, ( ). This role works closely with the Web & CRM Senior Marketing Manager to create and deploy targeted, offer-driven promotions across website and email marketing channels that help drive conversion, revenue, and guest engagement.
The CRM & Web Specialist develops and updates digital content including landing pages, web pop-ups, drip email campaigns, and promotional copy. The role also supports the execution of CRM and web strategies through content management, audience segmentation, deployment scheduling, and website updates that align with company goals. In addition, the Specialist works with owned, franchised, and managed hotel partners to support marketing, loyalty, and distribution initiatives across the portfolio.
This position combines strong writing and content development skills with a working knowledge of digital marketing analytics and performance tracking. The CRM & Web Specialist uses guest data, website insights, and campaign results to help identify opportunities, improve performance, and support customer lifecycle marketing. The role also contributes to SEO, GEO, local search visibility, and AI-ready content development by helping create digital experiences that are search-friendly, locally relevant, and structured for evolving search and discovery platforms.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative marketing professional with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. They are confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, bring a customer-focused mindset to their work, and are motivated to contribute to continuous improvement, brand growth, and guest loyalty.
This role is based out of our Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop content for brand promotion landing pages, web pop-ups, and drip email campaigns in collaboration with the Web & CRM Senior Marketing Manager.
- Work with the Web & CRM Senior Marketing Manager to review OKRs, digital marketing plans, and strategies that align with company goals.
- Identify promotional opportunities by analyzing guest profile preferences, Google Analytics reports, and website performance data.
- Execute Web & CRM strategies to enhance growth, profitability, guest experience, and the customer lifecycle.
- Collaborate with all Coast Hotels properties to support marketing, loyalty, and distribution initiatives.
- Use the Content Management System to implement customized guest promotions across website and email marketing channels.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO and GEO strategies to improve visibility across search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
- Create and optimize digital content so it is search-friendly, locally relevant, and structured for AI-ready experiences, including generative search and answer engines.
- Optimize Google Business Listings and local content to strengthen local search presence and property-level discoverability.
- Build customer segmentation for email marketing and manage deployment scheduling.
- Provide consistent support to hotels and offer online training to maximize CRM system usage.
- Monitor content and campaign performance, recommending updates based on analytics, search trends, and evolving digital best practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills/Knowledge/
Experience:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Full proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience creating email campaigns, landing pages, and promotional copy.
- Minimum of two years of experience with CRM and/or email marketing systems, including campaign deployments, segmentation, and reporting.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, and conversion-focused content tailored to different audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, content marketing, user experience, and mobile design.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console to track performance and support marketing decisions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Confident in managing multiple projects with strong organizational and time management skills.
