We're looking for a Global Head of Field & Strategic Events to design and build this function from scratch. This is a founding leadership role. You'll set the strategy, build the team, and own the number: pipeline generated and accelerated through flagship events and a tiered account based marketing motion, built around our highest value accounts. If you want to build something rather than run something that already exists, this is that role.
This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam or Dublin.
About The TeamYou'll join the Growth & Demand Generation team, sitting at the intersection of Demand Generation and Sales Development. Our buyers are enterprise leaders including CHROs, CIOs, and Internal Communications leaders, so this role is built around account based marketing as its operating model, not an add-on: 1:1 programmes for our highest value accounts, 1:few programmes for tiered account clusters, and 1:many (ABX) motions that combine field, events, and digital to reach broader segments 'll have the room to build the team, the strategy, and the motion your way, with real ownership over how this function takes shape.
Responsibilities- Define the global field marketing and strategic events strategy as a tiered ABM motion: 1:1 for named strategic accounts, 1:few for account clusters, and 1:many (ABX) for broader market segments.
- Lead the strategy for our global hero events programme, such as Workvivo Engage, as part of the broader ABX motion.
- Own a pipeline number. Generate and accelerate pipeline across all account tiers, and hold it to the same standard as any other demand channel.
- Lead and scale the regional field marketing team globally.
- Build regional field calendars and account plans in partnership with local field marketers, tailored to account tier, concentration, and deal stage in each region.
- Own the field and events budget and be accountable for pipeline efficiency, not just event volume or attendance.
- Build the handoff process with Sales Development and Sales so every account gets timely, coordinated follow up, matched to the intimacy of the motion it came from.
- Partner with Revenue Operations on attribution and lead routing across all three tiers.
- Build the playbooks and processes that let this function scale as it grows. You're building the model, not inheriting one.
- Represent field, events, and ABM performance in leadership reporting, with pipeline contribution front and centre.
- Have 8+ years in field marketing, ABM, or integrated marketing, with 3+ years in a people leadership role.
- Have a proven track record building a field and ABM function from the ground up, not just running an existing one, ideally across multiple regions.
- Have real, hands on experience running a tiered ABM motion. 1:1 for top accounts, 1:few for clusters, and 1:many/ABX for scale, not just familiarity with the concept.
- A track record of driving pipeline efficiency, not just event volume. You can speak to pipeline per dollar, not just attendance or brand metrics.
- Have experience owning a budget and reporting pipeline contribution to senior leadership with the same rigor as a paid or outbound channel.
- A strong cross functional collaborator, comfortable partnering with Demand Generation and Sales Development leadership.
- SaaS or B2B tech background preferred. Experience in HR tech, employee experience, or an adjacent category is a plus.
- Confident presenting performance data and strategy to senior leadership.
