Position: Marketing Specialist / Marketing Manager
An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic and creative Marketing Specialist / Marketing Manager to join a well-established multinational company based in the Centurion area. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, corporate environment and has strong experience in planning, coordinating, and executing successful events.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting brand visibility, marketing campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and event initiatives across the business. We are looking for someone who is organised, confident, detail-oriented, and able to bring fresh ideas to life while maintaining a polished and professional brand presence.

Position overview:
We are looking to strengthen our Marketing team with a Marketing Specialist based in (Centurion) Gauteng. In this role, you will support the execution of marketing activities across the Africa Cluster, with a primary focus on South Africa.
You will work closely with local Sales teams to drive impactful marketing initiatives and collaborate with the central Marketing team to localize regional and global campaigns. You will report directly to the Head, Africa Region

We are looking for a strong team player with a commercial mindset and excellent interpersonal skills. You bring creativity, clear communication, and analytical thinking to your work.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree Marketing or similar
• 5-8 years experience as a Marketing Manager
• Experience with organising events from the planning to setup, etc.
• Experience with Trade marketing
• Graphic design exposure (basic knowledge)
• Experience with in a multi-national company will be beneficial but not essential
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English is essential
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly
• Valid drivers license and own transport
• Must live within a reasonable distance from Centurion

Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning & Execution

• Develop a (trade) marketing calendar in collaboration with the Country Sales Manager and (Key) Account Managers
• Plan and execute activities to increase brand awareness and drive sales
• Ensure timely and effective implementation of agreed initiatives

Marketing & Communication (Mar Com) Support

• Coordinate marketing print materials (design, ordering and distribution)
• Create customer advertisements and promotional materials
• Support local new product launches
• Provide digital marketing support and localize social media content

Events & Trade Fairs

• Plan and execute customer visits and events
• Support the organization of partner and network events
• Coordinate and participate in trade fairs and industry events

Localization of Marketing Materials

• Adapt and translate marketing materials for the local market (e.g., price lists, website content, brochures)
