We are seeking an experienced public relations officer to foster brand awareness and uphold a positive public image for our very special Charity supporting very young autistic children and their families.
What difference will you make?Your input will shape how we present ourselves to our families and service users, stakeholders, funders and general public. With your help we will be able to continue to bring to life exactly what Transforming Autism is all about by sharing our mission and values and the good work that we do.
We support families with young autistic children to unlock their potential , and help them thrive. By also reframe autism, offering a unique positive and empowering conception of it, we also aim to change societal perceptions of autism, to one of infinite potential .
Your networking and press contacts will help amplify the work already being done by an excellent team of volunteers in marking and communications.

What will you be doing?Applicants will have a background in media management or public representation, and experience with developing, leading, and maintaining marketing strategies related to public relations. Our ideal candidate is media savvy and skilled in communication strategies.
- Develop PR marketing strategies for the Charity
- Communicate with press and media representatives
- Form an impressive public-facing brand image
- Create and facilitate PR campaigns
- Organise PR-related even
- Create promotional materials
- Craft, edit, and distribute press releases
- Track Autism promotional trends
- Communicate with internal teams and external media outlets
- Confident communicator
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of networking and building relationships with the press
- Aptitude for strategic problem-solving
- Proficient in all social media platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook,
and Linked In
Preferred Qualifications- Previous PR or media management experience
- Strong editorial and marketing skills
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
