Working closely with the Retail, Brand & Communications Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic marketing initiatives, creating compelling content and ensuring consistent messaging across multiple channels.
The Role As Marketing & Communications Officer, you'll be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality marketing, communications and PR activity. You'll oversee digital content, support campaign delivery and use insights and analytics to continually improve engagement and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating engaging content for recruitment, engagement and awareness campaigns Managing and developing social media channels and digital communications Supporting website content development and user experience improvements Producing email marketing campaigns and e-newsletters Writing and distributing PR content and press releases Developing short-form video content for digital platforms Managing paid digital campaigns and external suppliers where required Using Google Analytics 4 and other reporting tools to provide insight and recommendations Maintaining brand consistency across all communications Producing reports, presentations and communications for senior stakeholders and committees Building strong relationships with internal teams, volunteers and external partners Line managing and developing a small communications team About You We're looking for a confident and proactive marketing professional who can balance creativity with analytical thinking.
You'll ideally have experience in:
Marketing, communications, PR or digital marketing roles Managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously Social media management and content creation Email marketing platforms and campaign reporting Google Analytics 4 and performance reporting Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Canva and social media scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social Writing engaging content for a range of audiences and channels Team leadership or supervisory responsibilities You'll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships across a varied stakeholder base.
