FREELANCE CONCEPTUAL ART DIRECTOR – TTL

Working model: Remote

Budget: R75,690 per month, pro rata where applicable

We are looking for an experienced Conceptual Art Director with strong TTL agency experience to join a creative team on a freelance basis.

• Develop strong, original concepts across integrated and full-funnel campaigns
• Translate creative strategies into compelling visual ideas
• Work closely with copywriters, designers, strategists and client service teams
• Create and present concepts across digital, social, print, outdoor, activation and other campaign channels
• Guide the visual direction of campaigns from concept through execution
• Ensure all work is strategically relevant, visually strong and aligned with the brand
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment

• Proven experience as a Conceptual Art Director within an advertising agency
• Strong TTL and integrated campaign experience
• A portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking across multiple channels
• Experience working on recognised brands and campaigns
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Working knowledge of Figma is advantageous
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a broader creative team
• Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg and available to work in a hybrid model
