Working in a hybrid environment, combining remote working with time in our Leeds office and occasional site visits, you will play a key role in helping the business secure new projects by producing compelling, customer-focused tender responses. You will collaborate closely with technical experts and stakeholders across the business while contributing to the ongoing development of proposal systems, processes, and content management practices.

- Contribute to the implementation and ongoing use of AI-powered writing and content management tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the proposals function.

- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Experience producing clear, structured, and audience-focused written content in a professional or academic environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating successfully within a wider team.
- Excellent diligence and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in bid writing, proposals, communications, content creation, marketing, or journalism.
- Familiarity with the UK rail, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
- Experience interviewing or gathering information from subject matter experts.
- Experience maintaining content libraries or knowledge management systems.
- Understanding of public procurement and tendering processes.
- Experience using bid management or content management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI and Large Language Model (LLM) tools and workflows
