National Communications Manager Remote Role

Lead impactful communications at Breakthrough T1D as the National Communications Manager, a remote position anywhere in Canada. Drive content strategies and media relations to enhance our mission against type 1 diabetes.

Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF Canada, seeks an experienced communications professional for this key role. You'll develop strategic communications and implement content that resonates with the T1D community. Strong storytelling and media relations capabilities are essential as you collaborate with teams to execute impactful communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies

• Lead editorial planning and audience-targeted storytelling

• Produce compelling content optimizing reach and impact

• Design media relations plans to enhance brand reputation

• Monitor and report on communications performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in communications or PR

• Proven success in strategic communications programs

• Experience in content development and media relations

• Strong ability to translate complex information into clear content

• Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
