The British Columbia Council for International Cooperation is looking for a Communications Coordinator to improve member engagement and public communications. This role emphasizes collaboration and the translation of complex concepts into engaging, accessible content. You will play a vital role in ensuring BCCIC's voice resonates effectively with its members and the broader public.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage communication campaigns for BCCIC programs
• Create and schedule engaging social media content
• Keep the BCCIC website current and user-friendly
• Draft and disseminate newsletters and announcements
• Monitor sector developments for relevant communication opportunities
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
• 3-5 years in communications, preferably in nonprofit sectors
• Strong proficiency in digital communications tools
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent detail-oriented communication skills
Contribute to BCCIC’s mission by enhancing communications and fostering relationships with engaged communities.
