The Kindness Company publishes monthly print newspapers for readers aged 55–75 who prefer curated, screen-free content. Titles include Knit Nation, Crochet Nation, Baking Nation, History Nation, and Gardening Nation
, with new publications launching this year.
The company is mission-driven, focused on delivering meaningful content while scaling from 5 to 10+ titles.
- Write direct response copy for Meta ads targeting 55–75+ audiences
- Write UGC-style video scripts to drive subscriptions
- Test headlines, hooks, and offers; analyze results and iterate
- Collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief on messaging strategy
- Own social media strategy and content across publications
- Manage affiliate marketing partnerships and campaigns
- Lead A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Build and manage marketing calendars aligned with editorial launches
- Contribute to marketing strategy for new publication launches
- Studied direct response copywriting (knowledge of Dan Kennedy, Gary Halbert, Eugene Schwartz, David Ogilvy)
- Understanding of direct response vs. brand copywriting
- Writing portfolio or samples showing persuasive copy (spec work acceptable)
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) as accelerators, not replacements
- Coachable, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines independently
- Experience in email marketing, affiliate campaigns, or conversion optimization
