Remote Klaviyo & Retention Specialist; Email​/SMS

Working with our Retention Lead, you’ll manage client accounts directly, lead campaign strategy and execution, and work closely with the Account Directors to embed retention into their growth marketing strategies — from pitch to onboarding to delivery.

Your core focus will be on Email and SMS marketing using Klaviyo to drive customer lifetime value (CLV), reduce churn, and maximise repeat purchases.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Delivery & Optimisation

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Klaviyo Email and SMS campaigns — from strategy and creative briefing to build, send, and optimisation.
• Design and implement automated flows for onboarding, upsell, win-back, and loyalty campaigns.
• Analyse campaign performance, run A/B tests, and optimise for maximum engagement, conversion, and ROI.
• Maintain best practices for deliverability, compliance (GDPR/POPIA), and audience targeting.

Skills & Experience

• Track record of creating automated lifecycle flows and segmentation strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data to drive decisions.
• Excellent copy briefing skills and understanding of persuasive messaging for retention.
• Client-facing experience with strong relationship management skills.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and manage multiple accounts remotely.
• Experience in an agency setting.
• Knowledge of eCommerce, subscription, or high-frequency purchase businesses.
• Familiarity with other retention tools, loyalty platforms, and marketing automation systems.
