About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Email Marketing Manager to lead their email marketing efforts, supporting operations across various locations including Polokwane . This role is vital for designing, implementing, and optimizing email campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions. You will leverage data analytics to personalize communications and ensure maximum effectiveness of email strategies. This fully remote position offers a significant opportunity to impact customer relationships and revenue growth from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Create, schedule, and deploy targeted email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows.
- Segment customer databases to deliver personalized and relevant email content.
- Analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- A/B test various elements of email campaigns (subject lines, content, CTAs, send times) to improve engagement and results.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and maintain list hygiene.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in email marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaign management.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Hub Spot, Constant Contact).
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
