About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Sports Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for their diverse portfolio within the Leisure & Sports industry, based in Soweto with a hybrid work arrangement. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase participation in our client's sports programs and events. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports landscape, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for connecting with sports communities.

You will manage a small team and work collaboratively across departments to achieve marketing objectives.

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for sports products, events, and initiatives.
• Manage and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, with a significant focus on the sports or leisure industry.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
