About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to lead their internal and external communication efforts. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to manage impactful communication strategies from your home office. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans that enhance brand reputation, support business objectives, and engage diverse audiences. The ideal candidate is a masterful storyteller with a keen understanding of strategic messaging, media relations, and stakeholder engagement, driving clear and consistent communication across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic communications plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the creation of all external and internal communications, including press releases, speeches, newsletters, and social media content.
- Manage media relations, proactively seeking opportunities for positive coverage and responding effectively to inquiries.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans and act as a spokesperson when required.
- Manage and mentor a team of communication specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure communication strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Extensive experience in a Communications Manager or senior communications role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in crafting compelling narratives.
- Strong media relations skills and experience in crisis communications management.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred.
