Senior Director Public Relations EMEA

London (Battersea) with 2 days per week home working available

Following a period of significant growth for the Shark and Ninja brands across EMEA and basedfromour exciting new office within Battersea Power Station we are seeking a Senior Director of Public Relations to lead our EMEA media relations programme and to build on this momentum. You will be an inspiring team leaderand a natural creative with a proven track recordfor developing and executing successful campaigns increasing brand awareness and delivering impactful communication across varied customer touch points.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the strategic directiondevelopmentand execution of earned media across theEMEA region

• Developdriveand coordinate the strategy and execution ofShark
  
  Ninjas corporate brand activity across theEMEA region

• Manage external agency partners across EMEA including overseeing agency resources ensuring they are briefed ina timelymannerand campaigns deliver against business goals

• Manage and oversee the PR budget allocation acrossEMEA ensuring effective use and impactful ROI

• Manage internal stakeholders and co-ordinate the wider teams inShark
  
  Ninjato create impactful 360 campaigns

• Provide strategic PR counsel to the wider

  Ninja business and senior leadership team

• Co-ordinate with our global teams to ensuresynergyin activity

• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts

• Manage media inquiries andhigh level interview requests

• Create content for press releases bylinearticlesand keynote presentations

• Manage crisis situations and comms to ensure best practice

• Monitoranalyzeand communicate PR results developing comprehensive reports to communicate results for key PR campaigns and initiatives to executive team and key stakeholders

• Evaluate opportunities for partnershipssponsorshipsand advertising on an on-going basis.

• Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendationsregardingcommunication strategy surrounding them

Requirements

• Extensive senior-level public relations experience including team leadership

• Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at a localnationaland international level

• Experience working across EMEA markets

• Fluent in German French or Spanish a plus but not essential

• Experience of managing agencies (or coming from agency side at a senior level)

• Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews

• Exceptional writing and editing skills

• Solid experience with social media including blogs Facebook Twitter Instagram Linked In etc.

• Event planning experience

• Creative thinker

• Self-starter who can hit the ground running
• An agile approach to a fast and ever-changing environment
