E-commerce Content Specialist

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce Content Specialist to join their team, working remotely from Bloemfontein . In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling product descriptions, engaging website copy, and marketing content that drives customer engagement and sales. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and optimized for search engines.

• Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions and website copy for the e-commerce platform.

• Optimize content for search engines (SEO ) to improve organic search visibility and website traffic.
• Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, and adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and web developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly content layouts.
• Manage the content calendar and ensure timely publication of all scheduled content.

• Proven experience as a Content Specialist , Copywriter, or similar role, preferably in e-commerce.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of the English language.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
