About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and engaging Social Media Community Manager to foster vibrant online communities for their e-commerce brand, working remotely from Polokwane. You will be the voice of the brand across social platforms, responsible for interacting with followers, moderating discussions, and building strong relationships with customers. This role is key to enhancing brand loyalty and gathering valuable customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the company's social media communities across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and relevant forums.
Engage actively with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely and on-brand manner, and foster positive conversations.
Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, customer feedback, and emerging trends.
Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase interaction and build brand advocacy.
Identify and elevate customer service issues or product feedback to relevant internal teams.
Create and share engaging content, including polls, questions, and user-generated content campaigns, to drive community participation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Community Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role, with a strong understanding of online community dynamics.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and using community management tools.
Ability to craft engaging and on-brand copy.
A proactive and empathetic approach to interacting with online communities, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
