About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Remote Communications Manager to spearhead their strategic communication initiatives. This is a fully remote position, requiring a self-starter who can lead and inspire a dispersed team to achieve outstanding results in media relations and brand storytelling. You will be responsible for shaping the company's public image, managing crisis communications, and ensuring a consistent, powerful message across all platforms.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in PR leadership, exceptional strategic thinking, and a proven ability to thrive in a virtual, collaborative environment, driving impactful communication campaigns globally.
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations and communication strategies for a global, remote-first organization.
- Lead media relations efforts, building and maintaining strong relationships with international journalists and influencers.
- Oversee the creation of compelling press materials, including press releases, speeches, and digital content.
- Manage crisis communication protocols and lead response efforts effectively.
- Monitor and analyze global media coverage, identifying opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with business objectives.
- Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in public relations and communications, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience leading remote teams and managing distributed communication strategies.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, storytelling, and writing skills.
- Extensive experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
- Proficiency in leveraging digital communication tools and platforms for maximum reach.
