About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced PR and Communications Manager to lead their public relations and communication efforts in the prestigious business hub of Sandton . This role is pivotal in shaping and protecting the company's reputation, managing media relationships, and crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. You will oversee all aspects of PR, from developing strategic campaigns to crisis management, ensuring a consistent and positive brand image.
This hybrid role offers the flexibility to collaborate effectively in-office while also accommodating remote work, fostering a dynamic and productive environment within Gauteng .
- Develop and implement integrated public relations and communication strategies.
- Manage and nurture relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key influencers.
- Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
- Oversee crisis communication planning and execution.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze sentiment, and provide strategic insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, internal communications, and leadership teams to ensure alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in PR and corporate communications.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns and manage brand reputation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling abilities.
- Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive communication issues.
- Strong understanding of media relations, digital communications, and stakeholder engagement in Sandton.
