Email Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Email Marketing Specialist to join their fully remote team. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions. You will manage the entire email lifecycle, from campaign conception and audience segmentation to content creation, deployment, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, marketing automation platforms, and A/B testing, with a passion for crafting compelling messages that resonate with specific audiences and deliver measurable results for our client.

• Plan, develop, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows.
• Segment email lists based on customer demographics, behavior, and preferences to ensure personalized communication.
• Write compelling and effective email copy, working with design teams to create visually appealing email templates.
• Manage email marketing platforms and tools, ensuring compliance with email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
• Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times to improve engagement and conversion rates.

• 2-4 years of experience specifically in email marketing or marketing automation.
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Hub Spot, Send Grid, or similar.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and deliverability.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with an ability to craft persuasive marketing messages.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
