About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and organized Sports Marketing Coordinator to join their team, operating remotely with a focus on the Welkom area. You will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote sporting events, teams, and merchandise. This role involves managing social media presence, creating engaging content, coordinating promotional activities, and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, possesses strong digital marketing skills, and thrives in a remote work environment, contributing to the engagement and growth of sports within the Free State .
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies for sports-related initiatives.
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence across various platforms.
- Create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written copy, for marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate the logistics and execution of promotional events and sponsor ships.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide detailed reports on key metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency and reach.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the sports industry or in a remote capacity.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, SEO, and email marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
