About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Coordinator to support their communications team in Upington. This role is instrumental in assisting with the execution of PR strategies, managing media relations, and contributing to brand storytelling. You will help coordinate press releases, monitor media coverage, and support event logistics, playing a vital role in shaping the company's public image.

• Assist in drafting and distributing press releases and media advisories.
• Monitor media outlets for company mentions and industry news, compiling reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in PR, communications, or a relevant internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a good grasp of grammar and style.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic PR principles.
